So many elements of this architectural style appeal to me. Plus, I'm on the lookout for ideas on building a home on a fairly steep slope. Voila. Home designed by barnes vanze architecture.

Next time I do a room with wainscoting, this is how it will be. I like the cane daybed too. {from ballard designs}

Some of my faves from urban electric. I won't bother with the prices because they are pretty ridiculous. But still I love. The red one is from barn light electric and is much more reasonable if I remember right.
I saw these on snippet and ink recently. These pots used to be available at pottery barn, but I can't find them anymore. So I suppose if you were in the mood for a project (always) you could paint a pot with some chalkboard paint to make your own. Anyway, isn't this a very great idea for: 1. a party favor 2. a guest's place card 3. a christmas gift for a friend, neighbor or coworker 4. an herb garden (each herb labeled on the pot)
I loved this idea seen on snippet and ink. There are so many possibilities for the clothesline and clothes pin. Of course the guest card idea for entertaining is very cute. I also think it would be cute for a feature wall in a little girls bedroom or playroom, to have several rows with colorful, patterned doll clothes pinned along.
